Cookies & browser storage
Last updated October 6, 2026
TEAMAC only stores what it needs to sign you in and remember a few interface settings. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Cookies
| Cookie | Why it's needed | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
| __Host-ca_session | Keeps you signed in. Holds a random ID only — no personal data. | Up to 90 days; ends after 30 days without use or when you sign out |
| cs_token | Lets you open the code editor inside a sandbox. Set on the sandbox's own address. | Until you close the browser |
Both cookies are strictly necessary: the product can't work without them. They are marked HttpOnly and Secure, so page scripts can't read them and they are only sent over HTTPS.
Other browser storage
| Key | Where | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| sidebar_open | localStorage | Remembers whether the sidebar is collapsed. |
| theme | localStorage | Remembers whether you chose the light, dark or system theme. |
| cloud_agent_active_org | localStorage | Remembers the workspace you last opened. |
| inspector-w | localStorage | Remembers the width of the session side panel. |
| Firebase sign-in state | sessionStorage | Used for a moment while you sign in, then cleared once your session cookie is set. |
| cloud_agent_github_redirect_pending | sessionStorage | Finishes connecting GitHub if your browser blocked the pop-up. |
What we keep with your session
For each signed-in browser we store a fingerprint of the session ID (never the ID itself), your browser's user-agent, your IP address, and when the session started and was last used. This is what the Devices page shows so you can spot a session you don't recognise. The record is deleted when you sign out or the session expires.
Signing in with Google or GitHub
When you choose Google or GitHub, you sign in on their site, and they may set their own cookies there under their own privacy policies. TEAMAC receives your name, email address and profile picture to create your account. If you connect GitHub, we also keep a GitHub access token so agents can work on your repositories; it is stored encrypted.
Your choices
- See and sign out individual browsers under Settings → Devices, or sign out everywhere at once.
- Clearing this site's cookies in your browser signs you out on that browser.
- Clearing localStorage only resets the interface settings listed above.
